Andrew qualified from Sheffield Dental School way back in 1998 and started his implant journey over 20 years ago under the experienced tutelage of one of the founding fathers of implant dentistry, Hilt Tatum.

Since then, he has placed several thousand implants and embraced the digital world in his daily practice with intraoral scanners, CBCT, and 3D printers allowing the transition to fully guided implant case design placement.

He continued with his formal education by completing a Masters in Aesthetic & Restorative Dentistry at Manchester University in 2015. This changed his approach to complex cases and heightened his requirement for better aesthetic results from his implant work that ultimately led to the full digitization of his practice.

He has experience in all implant modalities from single and multi-unit cases to All-On-X provision, all placed completely guided using in house 3D printed surgical guides. All the provisional and many definitive restorations are designed and printed in house.

Andrew has a wealth of experience in both the surgical and complex restorative fields with a passion for OXY implants and their innovative approach to providing the clinician with the ultimate implant system.

He currently plans implant cases for many colleagues using RealGuide, Exoplan and BlueSkyPlan, delivering the complete solution from implant planning to surgical guide design and manufacture.

Andrew has now taken on a role with OXY IMPLANTS as a Mentor for anyone who wishes support and guidance on their own implant journey.
